My name is Daniel, I’m a professional software engineer, a hobbyist musician, and a member of a community art collective which builds large interactive sculptures.

I’m principally a web backend software engineer by experience, but I consider myself a product-minded pragmatic generalist when it comes to software engineering and I learn whichever tools a problem’s solution needs. I’m particularly experienced with the Scala programming language and the Akka concurrency/networking framework.

Musically, I focus on ambient and experimental electronic music. I collaborate with both remote and local friends, and I’m always interested in learning from others.

I develop large interactive art pieces with the Majorelle Arts collective, located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
